The voice of an angel... perhaps not, but James certainly entertains us with his singing. Some of his songs are radio classics, some are homemade with a Carribean flavour, others are soulful and the rest are just downright peculiar, but, you have to admire his ability to sing even when he's riding the most tricky of customers!
We love to post on Facebook most days (@racingannduffield) and it was great to be tagged in a photo of one of our former horses, 'Peach Pavlova'. She is doing really well in her reschooling and should be out and about competing in ROR (retraining of racehorses) classes this season. Thank you to Kate Nicholson for the photo.
A quiet week or two on the racing front for us. It's that time of year where it almost feels like we're in limbo, waiting for the turf season to begin. We should probably make the most of the 'quiet spell', but frankly, we're itching to get going. The Grand National entries went in today and with the Racing Post selecting two northern trained horses out of their 'five names to note', it would be great to see the much coveted prize return to the North this April.
