Manic Monday? That’s a bit of an understatement!
In the office, Anna is tucked away in ‘the box’, working away on her end of month accounts, while Berni and I occupy the desks in the main office, navigating our way through another manic Monday – being busy keeps things interesting, that's for certain!
Having hit the deck this morning, Allen will no doubt be baking up a storm as I type, preparing a delicious cake for us to enjoy tomorrow morning - we hope he won’t be too sore to deliver said delicious cake!
The first of our two runners, Bibbidibobbidiboo, has just left for Thirsk and Troop will be on the road to Southwell before too long. Plenty of entries are being made and it’s nice to be hitting that time of year where we won’t have to wait too much longer before we see what our juveniles are made of. Speaking of which, the youngsters are progressing nicely, some are further forward than others but generally speaking, they’re working upsides and it won’t be long before they receive their first entries.
We don’t want for facilities at Sun Hill – we have everything a trainer could wish for. Since Ann has scaled backed the number of horses she has in training, three walkers are no longer necessary. If you or someone you know is on the hunt for a top of the range, Claydon six-horse walker, please get in touch via email at ann@annduffield.co.uk
