“Salaca doo la menthicka boo la bibbidi-bobbidi-boo

Put 'em together and what have you got?

Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!”

No, we haven’t lost the plot, not quite, not yet! The lyrics above are taken from the much loved fairy-tale ‘Cinderella’, a song sang by her Fairy Godmother whilst getting Cinders ready for the ball in which she was destined to meet her Prince Charming.

The Fairy Godmother certainly waved her magic wand for us yesterday, assisting ‘Bibbidibobbidiboo’ to win at Catterick for her owner Jen Bianco, who named the filly after the song she so enjoyed singing to her daughter Annie when she was a baby. We were all delighted to see this filly win, it was much deserved and frankly, we’d been expecting it for a while.  As you can see from the photo below, Boo enjoyed a very chilled day today, I’m sure she was dreaming about her victory… let’s hope it has given her the appetite for more.

No runners this weekend but lots of entries for the week ahead. We have had a good bit of rain all throughout the day, perhaps not enough to make a serious difference to the ground after weeks of it baking in the sun, but it should be enough to take the sting out of it.

Have a fantastic bank holiday!
