Christmas Eve and no rest for the wicked, with several staff off for Christmas and a big reshuffle of horses undertaken. The vast majority of yearlings are now roughed off and will enjoy a short break, but there's still plenty to keep us busy as we continue to put the water treadmill to good use. A girl after my own heart, Ninetta wasn't impressed at not being first in the lunch queue and did her absolute best to capture the attention of James, bucking and rearing and buffering herself from wall to wall. I think she was disappointed when there was no turkey on offer.
