Contiuning the clearout

As we approach the winter our annual clear out continues unabated with two year old “Heavenly Pulse” selling today at Doncaster to race in Sweden. It is important for trainers and owners to ‘clear the decks’ when necessary, and this year we have made a good start. It is unfair of trainers to let their loyal owners keep on paying for horses who you are really struggling to win with. An empty box makes way for a good - or at least a better horse - and owners appreciate the honesty.

So far we have moved on, sold or re-homed a dozen horses with another ten or more entered for sales. Of course five new babies have arrived already from the first sale and with the help of our owners, new and established, we hope to build up the numbers as they months go by.

Meanwhile George has been out jogging in an attempt to get even fitter for his ride next week in the “Leger legends” race, frankly I don’t see how he can be any fitter, he rides out regularly- rides work and never stops, he is as fit as a fiddle and light as a feather.

Thank you to all those who have given generously to his “just giving “ page and if you haven’t, “please” do so, as he hopes to raise as much as possible to help the charities https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/george-duffield2

A few days ago we hinted at the possibility of a new syndicate - well now the ball is well and truly rolling. Check out the blog tomorrow for all the info regarding the 'Solo Syndicate'!
