Ordinarily, this is the time of year when things would begin to quieten down. This year, for us, the opposite is true. We've had a very quiet summer and thus have horses gearing up to run throughout the winter, with plenty of entries being made most days, especially for Newcastle - thank goodness we have a Northern all-weather track now! 

This evening sees two of our old favourites go through the sales ring, George Dryden and Rosina. We've enjoyed some good days at the races with both George and Rosie and we'll be sad to see them go. Several more go through tomorrow. For those who are interested, you can watch the live sales here
