The morning was far too wet, grey, windy (the list of grumbling adjectives to describe this JUNE weather could go on!) to be able to get outside and photograph the horses in action, but opportunity presented itself to take a few photos whilst the horses enjoyed their afternoon downtime, with plenty willing to model in return for a little fussing.

We've had a couple of runners since racing returned, albeit behind closed doors, neither of which disgraced themselves and both will come on for the run. Next week should see a few more out and about and with plenty of races pencilled in over the coming weeks it would be great to get off to a good start with a winner as soon as possible!

It's been great to see the yard back in full swing, you could almost forget the problems going on in the outside world when sheltered by the rolling hills of the Dales, and it must be said the the team here have done a really wonderful job of social distancing, keeping themselves and facilities sanitized and not making unnecessary trips out. A big well done and thank you to them.

We've also been able to reopen our gallops and water treadmill to outside customers and have been well supported over the past couple of weeks, but we're still receiving calls from clients are unsure as to whether we are open so we're taking the opportunity to say YES, come and see us!

Wishing you all a nice weekend, despite the weather!
