A productive morning at Sun Hill with Andy Elliott back in to put some unraced horses through the stalls ahead of their racecourse debuts. Pictured below is Gainsboro Grey, owned by Ian and Nancy Farrington, headed back towards the stalls for round two. By Archipenko, the now three-year-old Gainsboro was allowed time by his owners to fill out his frame, grow and mature, and we seriously hope that not rushing him to race at two will benefit in the long run.
C&C horse transport arrived at the yard earlier in the morning to collect 'Junvieve', a lovely looking three-year-old filly owned by Middleham Park Racing and trained by Richard Hannon. As some of you may know, George's venture 'Sports Horse Fitness and Rehab Centre' also operates from Sun Hill and the water treadmill is a great foundation and aid in pre-training. We're looking forward to following Junvieve's career and wish her and connections a fruitful season.
