Three runners yesterday - Arnold headed to Beverley to try 5 furlongs for the first time and had no luck in running whatsoever. Poorly drawn (as it seems so many of ours often are, and we do keep track of all our draws) he found himself in behind a wall of horses with no where to go.

At Ripon, we had our first two-year-old runner of the season with Miss Sabina making her career debut. The only filly in the race, she ran a little greenly and will no doubt come on for the experience and finished a pleasing fourth nonetheless - an encouraging begining and plently to build upon.

Cuppacoco enjoyed running from the front and just got tired in the closing stages. She looks to be on her way back and though some might think she still has to prove herself on the turf, we aren't worried about that yet.

Two runners this afternoon at the lovely Scottish track, Hamilton. The Scottish tracks have great hospitality and really look after owners well. 'Highly Focussed' looks to add to his tally with a third win having enjoyed a really consistent season so far and seems to remain in good spirits at home. The white flash 'Troop' delighted his owners last time out when proforming much better to be 2nd at Redcar, proving the marked step up in trip was just what the doctor ordered. We hope that all the owners attending today have a fantastic day and fingers crossed for a winner!

Yesterday's runners enjoy playtime in the paddocks
