The recent runners have all ran well, especially the fillies with Sugar Beach, Fascinator, Salire, Lady Lintera and Miss Bates all running competitive races, each heavily hinting that it won't be long before at least one of them makes their way into the winners enclosure. Mimic's Memory heads to Southwell tomorrow, the venue of her sole win to date. She's a lightly raced filly who takes a few runs to get fully race fit and a step in the right direction last time out gives us hope for tomorrow - more in the morning on Ann's Thoughts.

The fillies of the future are enjoying their education, trotting circles and figure's of eight in the field, twisting, turning, learning manners and crucially, steering and breaks. Once they have a good, solid grounding, it won't be long before they head up the gallops.
