Saturdays are for bacon sandwiches, visits from owners and watching the horses gallop - there's worse ways to spend a morning, especially when the sun is shining! Gorse ran a lovely race yesterday on only his second start, finishing a respectable fifth at Redcar and showing that he had learned a lot from his first foray. Hopefully there's more to follow from our son of Zebedee. Fellow two-year-old, Troop, heads to Beverley this afternoon - more about him over on Ann's Thoughts. We still have a fair few un-raced youngsters that we are almost ready to go to war with and we're looking forward to adding to the tally that Canford's Joy got underway during the week.
