"Birrafun" lived up to her name today when scoring well at Southwell under stable jockey PJ. It was only the fillies fourth run and her first in handicap company so we were glad to see her stick her pretty head out and win the six furlong contest. Her homework and her previous races had shown us enough to confirm she was, and is capable of winning races, it was just a question of when. Amazingly the "fully sold" sign is not up on her door yet but I am sure todays proof is all that is needed to ensure this daughter of Zebeddee will indeed be fully subscribed very soon. "Birrafun" will contiune to give a "lorra fun" this Summer.

The open day preparations are well under way but we are in the dark as to how many to expect, but nevertheless we will be ready and waiting- just in case. It will certainly be "different" to all the other Good Friday open days where we knew exactly  what to expect and therefore what to do!

Todays work morning went well for the two year olds, the older horses worked yesterday and enjoyed an easy- ish day today on the walkers, vitafloor and sessions on the water readmill.

Last nights Blog featuring the previously unseen "retirement" video for George has been very well received and watched by over a thousand people so far, which is incredible, the new website has now had close to 40.000 "hits" and counting....

Below is a selection of pictures of Birrafun
