Inspirational news in the Racing Post today, as it is reported that Freddy Tylicki is looking to get back in the saddle in a riding lesson planned for next week. Freddy is still unable to move his lower body having sustained life changing injuries in the horror fall at Kempton in October, but has a wonderfully positive outlook, "There's only two ways to go in this situation and I've decided to go forward." Jockeys are made of seriously strong stuff and we should all be encouraged and inspired by Mr Tylicki's courage and determination.

Could spring be in the air with temperatures almost hitting double figures? It's certainly felt like it the last few days and the horses have enjoyed the sun on their backs but with strong winds forecast, I won't be digging out the shorts just yet. Good luck to connections of 'Highly Focussed' who makes his handicap debut tonight at Wolverhampton.

Have a good weekend folks!
