We have a very handsome new addition to the yard who is proving quite the distraction amongst the girls. He is certainly getting an awful lot of attention; he has been seen kissing Issey, Nicky had her excuses ready to come to the office for a cuddle and Hayley wants to take him home, but it's Anna who has caught his eye! Word has it that one or two of the older lads are pretty jealous of the good looking, vivacious young pretender but they will have to put up and shut up because 'Oscar' is here to stay.
Oscar is infact the latest addition to Anna and Allen's brood, a lovely German short-haired pointer with a fun and loving temperament. He will be taking some of your calls and making entries in the coming weeks, learning the ropes from Mummy Anna...
There was a great story in the Post today, about owner David Henery who achieved his goal of having a runner at all 62 courses in Britain, flat and jumps. That takes some doing! David has been to all of the meetings himself and has the owners badges to prove it, saying 'There's no point owning a horse if you're not going to go' - he's clearly a man who loves the sport and has put plenty into it having had 19 horses over the years, owned in full or in part.
Monday morning and you all know the drill by now, the vast majority of horses do once up the all-weather hill though two lots headed to the round-canter for their workout. The loss of the laptop also meant the loss of all the photographs due to be uploaded to the owner login section which was irritating to say the least, having been taken, edited, resized and filed as best as one can organise thousands of photos. The new laptop has now arrived and with good weather (hopefully) due on Wednesday, we are looking to take a fresh batch of images ready to update out Owner's private log-in pages toward the end of this week.
