Many believe syndicates to be the way forward for racing. It is the obvious entry to ownership for many and aside from lessening the financial load, it is also a fun and sociable experience to go racing with friends and fellow lovers of the sport. We recently announced the launch of brand new syndicate 'Solo', which you can find out more about on the previous blog post, and now we are delighted to welcome 'Infinity Racing' to the family. Ann will be heading to Tattersalls Ireland for the Yearling Sale on the 19th & 20th September with a view to purchasing a horse for the Infinity Racing syndicate and I'm sure she'll pick up a couple more while she's at it!
"I am sure the members of Infinity will love having a youngster to follow through all the stages from purchase, breaking in and preparing for racing, let’s hope we can get another one like Rainbow Mist for the club, a winner on his debut, a winner also at York, and fourth in a Listed race in France" - Ann
I believe that, for a limited time, Infinity has reopened the doors to new members so if you wish to be involved, strike while the iron is hot http://infinityracing.co.uk/
'Salire' ran a cracker at Thirsk on Saturday on only her second start, finishing third at massive odds of 150/1 - in fact I think she opened at 200/1 so I hope at least some of you had your each-way pennies on! Her first run was disappointing but it looks highly likely that she too was suffering from the virus as we were right in the thick of it at the time of her debut - of course, that didn't come to light until after, but I think we can say with some confidence that on that occassion she wasn't quite herself.
