So far, April has been good to us. The weather is fantastic and we got through April Fool's Day unscathed - I did consider 'pranking' you all, announcing my retirement from training so as to concentrate on my other ventures while George went back packing around the world, but then I decided that was surely too unbelievable! The sun has been shining it's glorious rays on Sun Hill and the horses are blooming, it's all getting rather exciting and things are certainly stepping up a notch. It won't be too much longer before this year's juveniles make an appearance on the track. Toboggan's Fire came out of her race really well, she looks fantastic (as pictured below) and looks sure to give her owners plenty more fun this season. Let's just hope she was the first winner of many! On the topic of 'many', I enjoyed another birthday this weekend.
