Two runners this afternoon with Kylie Rules making her seasonal debut at Carlisle and Troop heading to Redcar. The month of May has seen some glorious sunshine, and having moaned about the wet all winter, it is now time to complain about the bi-product of beautiful sunshine - hard ground! Things are firming up every where, the ground is hard and fast and those who need a bit of juice in the ground aren't going to have their preferred going for a while, not with the forecast looking the way it does at the moment. It does, however, mean that the horses are looking fabulous, the sun has worked it's usual magic and has every where and every thing looking marvellous. Red Charmer showed some of his former sparkle last time out and heads to Ayr tomorrow, an early start for the staff, they will hit the road at 6am to leave Charmer plenty of time to chill before his race. Fingers crossed he can run even better tomorrow.

Highly Focussed ran another cracker when finishing second at Hamilton on Friday evening, just unlucky to run into a well handicapped horse on the night. What a season we have had with him - 5 runs, 2 wins and never out of the first 4.
