"Arnold" made up for just missing out at Thirsk on his seasonal debut and for fluffing his lines at Ayr last time when winning in decisive fashion at this afternoons Ripon meeting. He is a huge horse with more growing to do and he is sure to give his owners a lot of fun in the years ahead. I was just glad to get another winner after so many seconds and not much luck in running with many of our runners, when you’re on a "winning streak" success comes so easily but when things are not going smoothly racing tests the patience of a saint.

The weekend was a good one and Hayley took some amazing photos on Saturday morning, many of them are shared on the blog already. Generally the horses are looking great and really starting to thrive now the weather has warmed up and is remaining consistent and Sun Hill is starting to look at its best.
