Get your mind out of the gutter...

Wednesday - Hump Day, the midpoint of a typical working week and apparently the 'toughest' day of the week.

Our hump day wasn't so bad. A beautiful morning - bright sunshine, very cold but dry. Lots of lunging was done, those being ridden were on both the round canter and the all-weather hill gallop and the treadmill was kept busy as usual. After riding out, James and I set about levelling out the lunge ring before heading to Leyburn to collect some bags of horse feed. Mimic's Memory has been declared for Newcastle this Friday and will be our first runner since Lady Lintera won at the same venue. Mimic's has gone very close at this track before, so fingers crossed she can run well - she was certainly full of beans when she gave my arms a good tugging this morning!
