Details
Refuse To Bend was a great racehorse and has all the credentials to go to the very top as a stallion.
A winner of 7 races between 2 and 4 years of age over distances from seven furlongs to 10 furlongs. His wins included the English 2000 Guineas, the Group 1 Coral Eclipse and the Group 1 Queen Ann Stakes group 1.
Retired to stud in 2005, Refuse To Bend is the son of the great Saddlers Wells who, when crossed with Darshaan mares - as in this fillies case - have produced some of the best horses in world.
This yearling's pedigree has a particularly good fillies page and the dam has already proven herself capable of producing a two year old winner with her first foal (this filly is her second foal) in Chicago Pop, a first time out winner at York when easily beating Reve de Soleil, a subsequent two time winner of a maiden, conditions sakes race & third in the Group 3 Richmond stakes.
This filly is an athletic, easy moving sort who looks like a racehorse; she is a good size with plenty of scope and is currently being broken in at the yard.
