You already know that at Ann Duffield Racing the horses always come first. But we are also proud of the way we look after our owners. This is what they say about us.
David Holdsworth - Owner of Jubilee Street
Prior to joining Ann Duffield Racing, Jubilee Street had a BHB rating of 49 on the turf and I felt the horse may just benefit from a change. I was very impressed with the people and facilities at Sun Hill and have never regretted moving him there. Jubilee Street has done nothing but improve under Ann's excellent guidance and ended the 2005 season with a BHB turf rating of 77 and winning the £17,000 Carlsberg Redcar Straight-Mile Championship Final.
I was also keen to be more involved with the horse and the race programme and have always found Ann helpful and informative. Her owner management skills are first rate and we hold regular discussions on how the horse is performing on the gallops and the opportunities the fixture list presents.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Ann as a racehorse trainer for existing owners who, like me, are seeking a change or for prospective new owners looking to take their first steps in to racehorse ownership.

As the Syndicate Manager for Middleham Park Racing choosing the right trainer to suit both our horses and our owners is critical. It goes without saying that we need a trainer that can get the very best out of the horses we send them and Ann can certainly do this. Take Constable Burton; Ann has shown great skill in training him to win four races on the flat and two over hurdles, giving our members a great deal of fun along the way. In fact one of most enjoyable days racing we have had is when Ann rode Constable Burton to win a charity race for us at Doncaster. Ann is also proving to be a great trainer of two year olds and her record with these in 2005 is first class.

The second quality I look for in a trainer is someone with good people skills and Ann certainly excels here! Whether it is during one of our organised syndicate days at the yard or simply a member dropping in to Sun Hill to check on the horse, Ann and her team are always very welcoming.
Helen Wynne - Owner/Breeder
When I buy a horse I'm looking not only at its racing career but also the breeding potential and I need a trainer who is sensitive to both these aspects. My principal interest on the breeding side is middle distance broodmares, I like to buy well bred fillies with potential and then try and win some races before retiring them to the paddock.
Ann has done a great job with Prairie Sun. She has trained her to win under both codes of racing as well as managing to get her placed in a listed race and getting a bit of black type which can only increase her paddock value.
I know I can always speak to Ann at anytime to discuss how my horses are training and liaise with her on current race plans. I'm 100% happy to let Ann train my horses and would certainly recommend her to other owners.
